When I bought the cd of ‘A Beautiful Mind’ , I thought that it would be another picture like the Davici code. I was totally heart broken after watching

Davici code. The film was an utter flop, from the point of view of a reader who had read the book before. But this time the experience was different. Ron Howard did really change the layout of the plot as described in the book by Sylvia Nasar. The biographical film which portraiys the life of Prof. Nash is really impressive! The picture, aptly voids many sub-plots in the book, and it looks better than the original book. And that fetched four Academy awards including the one for Best Adapted Screenplay. (Howard also bagged his prize
) Though the inaccurate portrayal of Nash’s life in film attracted criticism, it lured many film lovers. There were so many instances where the movie deviates from the facts – The picture hardly speaks about the homosexual (supposedly!) orientation of John Nash. The rift between Nash and his wife was not shown much. In the movie we can see a Wheeler lab (at MIT), but there is no such lab there in MIT! The facts concerning the medication of Nash is also misinterpreted. But the movie as a whole, deserves a 7.5 out of 10. It is a movie worth watching
